SWWS

Produced by SWWS for the State Government’s Randau Project, this training kit targets rural teenagers. Randau is an Iban word for community dialogue. Pre-COVID, SWWS alongside other government agencies have visited remote rural longhouses and kampungs to discuss social issues.

During COVID19 MCO, the kit was produced to enable district officers to facilitate discussions on healthy relationships. It contains a video presentation (in Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Iban) which includes a specially written story; a student workbook; stickers and guidelines for the facilitators who are to encourage young people to discuss issues openly; value themselves; help each other; think through their choices and have more knowledge to make their decisions. For more information, please contact SWWS.
